Prisma Financial ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your personal information under the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Ontario privacy law. This page explains what we collect, why, and how to reach us with questions.

Information we collect

When you request a quote or use our services, we collect contact details (name, email), tax-relevant information you provide (slips, statements, prior returns), and basic technical data (IP address, browser type) for security and analytics.

How we use it

We use your information to prepare and file your returns, respond to inquiries, send service updates, and meet our legal and professional record-keeping obligations.

How we share it

We share information with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and other tax authorities only as needed to file your returns. We use vetted Canadian or compliant service providers for hosting, email, and form intake. We do not sell your information.

How long we keep it

We keep client records for the period required by CRA and professional standards (currently six years from the end of the relevant tax year), after which records are securely destroyed.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, request corrections, or ask us to delete information that is not subject to mandatory retention. Contact us at support@prismaaccounting.com.

Cookies

This site uses minimal cookies for basic functionality. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers. Embedded Tally forms may set their own cookies governed by Tally's privacy policy.
